We’re wrapping up National Adoption Awareness Month with a short film in lieu of a comic.

My 8 year old son CJ and I co-wrote and shot this short film. Our goal was to capture the feelings of loneliness and despair a child his age goes through, not knowing if they have… or will ever have, parents and a home of their own. I think he did a phenomenal job of conveying those feelings with very few words.

There are 400,000 children sitting in the foster system just praying someone will take them home. What better Christmas present could you give a little one today?
